Fifteen years after it was first conjured in the Welsh mountains with the assistance of luminaries Pete Kember (Sonic Boom / Spacemen 3 / Spectrum) and Cian Ciarán (Super Furry Animals / Das Koolies), Rocket Girl Records proudly reissued the acclaimed self-titled debut album from sonic alchemists White Noise Sound (WNS) in July 2025.

A chimeric wall-of-sound, 'White Noise Sound (WNS1)' weaves a hypnotic blend of Krautrock propulsion, swirling shoegaze textures, spectral lullabies and drone-laden psychedelia. It remains an unbounded statement of sonic exploration that still burns with myth and mystery.

Originally released in 2010 by California’s Alive Records, the album was greeted with widespread critical praise - Q, Word, Artrocker, The Guardian, The Times and The Independent were among a host of publications lining-up in support - and has since earned cult status, championed by both psychedelic icons and electronic visionaries alike - from Anton Newcombe (The Brian Jonestown Massacre) and Bobby Hecksher (The Warlocks), to Daniel Avery, Phil Kieran and Andrew Weatherall’s Scrutton Street circle.

Reborn, remastered and resonating louder than ever, Rocket Girl Records reintroduces this esoteric classic to a new generation of psych-rock initiates.

Available for the first time digitally and across all streaming platforms, the reissue marked the first of a triptych of releases.
