    Lifted from White Noise Sound's (WNS) boundary-stretching second album 'Like a Pyramid of Fire (WNS2)', 'Heavy Echo' is a transmission that cuts between the lines.  Ritualistic pulses fold with a wall of bending guitar fuzz and an ecstatic mantra, as “waves of sound swell to climaxes of opiated majesty” (The Independent).

    The track sees WNS transmuting shoegaze and kosmiche energies into something mesmerically elemental.  A sonic invocation…

    The heavy echo of that time.

    Championed by Anton Newcombe (The Brian Jonestown Massacre) and aired heavily across BBC Radio by Lauren Laverne, Steve Lamacq, Gideon Coe and Tom Robinson, 'Heavy Echo' remains one of the band’s most hypnotic works.

    The B-side, 'Never Fall', is a rare artefact exclusive to this release: dark, electronic minimalism channelling Alan Vega and Martin Rev, along with the spirit of early Mute recordings.

    Incantations that cut and fold time inside itself.
