It's been a bedazzling few months for the Brooklyn based trio A Place to Bury Strangers, who bring out their next single 'I Know I'll See You' on Rocket Girl Records on 20th October.

After wowing at the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival early this year (where NME declared them one of their top ten bands of the festival), suddenly they found themselves England's hottest ticket. Suddenly the "loudest band in NYC", were the most wanted band in London, with features in Kerrang! and NME. Back home in the States, the band toured with Nine Inch Nails and The Dandy Warhols across America, and suddenly, their cacophony of what at first seems like an inaccessible aural attack of white noise, suddenly became the freshest sound on the circuit. A dark metallic ring of the gritty tin of guitars, I Know I'll See You is a saw-soaked raw track, fusing Factory Records-esque mystery with Cure-like, Jesus & Mary Chain pulses of eardrum piercing austerity. Static-laden sonic qualities create sounds that evolve to sound like a slinky Werewolf attack of saturated distortion; hardly surprising given front man Oliver Ackermann's sideline building hand-wired guitar pedals. A Place to Bury Strangers are Oliver Ackermann (guitars, vocalist), Jono Mofo (bass) & Jay Space (drums).

"… a mountainous guitar squall that has the crowd's jaws on the floor slabs … everyone's found their new favourite band."    NME

"…They are quite brilliant…Watching another band after this is simply inconceivable…"        Paul Brannigan - KERRANG!

"Beneath those noisy opuses lurk killer melodies…in London a brilliant new group was discovered." ARTROCKER

"The mark of true genius… I hate to swear in reviews but Fuuuuuuuukkkkkkgghell. YES"         THE FLY

"…tinnitus-inducing noise-pop against a tension-wracked Joy Division meets Ministry backdrop…they can pull beauty out of eardrum-puncturing bleakness."         PITCHFORK

"…Best discoveries? [at SXSW]…A Place to bury Strangers…who meld together the Jesus and Mary Chain and New Order to explosive and thrilling effect."   SUNDAY TIMES CULTURE

"…Let them play one more song before we shut the place down. This band is sick."        NYPD Officer
